This project is located on the shore of Lake Silver in Winter Haven and is a passive 3+/- acre recreational improvement project with an amphitheater with terraced grass seating area and a sail cover area over the theater stage. The skate park is on approximately 1 acre in size and was designed with a parking lot for boat trailers and visitors with accessible access to the skatepark and amphitheater. The amphitheater connects to the adjacent Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Park. The skatepark was publicly vetted via a programming and master planning process. Engineering assistance included permitting and design, i.e., layouts, lighting, entrances, parking, stormwater management, irrigation, landscaping and erosion control
