Discovery Academy High School, Lake Alfred, FL – Prepared Discovery Academy’s master plan, design, and permitting of a new charter school on 55 acres. This work included, but was not limited to, surveying, comprehensive plan adjustment, civil site engineering infrastructure, collector road improvements, turn lanes, potable water services, sanitary sewer lines and City lift station, site stormwater management, landscaping, roadway access, staff and student parking, sidewalks, and erosion control systems. This project was designed and permitted via the City of Lake Alfred, Southwest Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Polk County Health Department. We also prepared roadway and intersection improvements, including but not limited to maintenance of traffic, signage, striping, grading, drainage, and related design elements for a Polk County Road to accommodate additional bus traffic along Evenhouse Road and Creek Road in Lake Alfred, Florida.
