Turnberry at Grasslands is a residential development situated within the established Grasslands community in Lakeland, Florida. The project contributes to the continued growth of the area through thoughtfully planned residential infrastructure that integrates with existing utilities, roadways, and environmental features.
Carter and Kaye Engineering, LLC (CarterKaye) provided civil engineering design and permitting services for the onsite infrastructure serving the development. Our scope included the design and coordination of potable water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and stormwater management systems engineered to meet local and regional regulatory requirements. Kriss Kaye performed the engineering and permitting for the Turnberry Subdivision, 52 lot single family site-built community on 11 acres, Sanitary sewer collection\lift station and force main, street grading and stormwater management system permitting and design were required. Stormwater infrastructure was designed to appropriately manage runoff from the development while protecting downstream receiving waters and maintaining compatibility with the surrounding community. Through coordination with the City of Lakeland, utility providers, and the project team, CarterKaye delivered infrastructure solutions that support the long-term functionality, resilience, and regulatory compliance of the Turnberry at Grasslands development.
