Lighthouse for the Blind – Education & Training Facility, Winter Haven, FL   Responsible for the civil site engineering, permitting, construction observation, and certification services for the new Lighthouse for the Blind facility located along Avenue D in Winter Haven; included site development for the approximately 10,000-sq. ft. educational and training center, parking and accessibility improvements, stormwater management design, and utility extensions to serve the site; coordinated with the City of Winter Haven, Polk County, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) for site plan and Environmental Resource Permit approvals; performed a regional stormwater evaluation to tie into the existing offsite conveyance network and optimize onsite retention and outfall design; coordinated grading and ADA accessibility with architectural and structural plans; and prepared record drawings and certifications at project completion; project total cost approximately $2.8 million.
