CarterKaye provided planning, design, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction administration services for the City of Winter Haven’s replacement of Lift Station 119 near Lake Mirror. Design began in 2019, followed by FDEP permitting in 2021 and bidding in 2024, with a recorded construction bid of approximately $1.33 million. The project relocated the deteriorated station from its constrained location within Lake Mirror Drive, improving maintenance access and addressing obsolete telemetry, high groundwater, traffic, utilities, and challenging lakeside construction conditions. Improvements included new pumping and piping systems, electrical and telemetry equipment, fencing, drainage, pavement restoration, and associated site work. Construction and closeout activities were substantially completed in 2026, providing the City with a more reliable and accessible wastewater facility.
