Responsible for the construction inspection, design, permitting, bidding effort and punch list tasks, for the relocation of a one-mile of urban collector road, Adams Barn Road, which included two roundabouts a boulevard section, curbs and gutter, swales, ditch blocks, erosion and sedimentation control. This project included extensive coordination between the City of Lake Alfred, City of Auburndale, Polk County and the Southwest Florida Water Management District to obtain construction authorization. The design, permitting, and inspection of new and relocated subsurface utilities, i.e., potable water mains, sanitary sewer force mains, telephone, cable, reclaimed water and an interconnect between the City of Lake Alfred and City of Auburndale was required to complete this work. This work also included the permitting and construction review of an extensive landscape, irrigation and amenities plan along Adams Bard Road for enhancing aesthetics of the right-of-way and at the entrances into the Water Ridge Residential Subdivision, which is situated on both sides of Adams Bard Road.
