Carter and Kaye Engineering, LLC has provided engineering and permitting services for renewal of Wastewater Treatment Facility operating permits. This facility serves a church conference center with a reported population of 464 persons across approximately 62 acres. The existing extended-aeration treatment plant is permitted for 20,000 gallons per day on a three-month average basis, with two subsurface drainfields providing disposal capacity of 20,000 gallons per day on a twelve-month average basis. Project services include preparation of permit renewal applications, an updated Capacity Analysis Report, and an Operation and Maintenance Performance Report; evaluation of ten years of available wastewater flow records; review of effluent monitoring results and reporting deficiencies; and updates to facility exhibits and process-flow documentation. The capacity analysis evaluates seasonal demand and projects treatment and disposal needs through 2036. The O&M review identifies equipment-condition and maintenance items requiring confirmation and develops recommendations for corrective action to support continued facility operation.
